Personality and Behaviour
Shriek is an astonishingly enthusiastic individual who often acts with extreme vigour and carelessness. He is very confident and malicious as well. He rarely respects authorities, though he is completely scared of Dr. Schadenfreude and as such serves him without a question.
He talks a lot, often at times inappropriate for chatter, particularly during heated combat. Shriek frequently uses his sonokinetic powers to imitate voices of the others in order to pull pranks or perform humourous sketches.
He likes to act especially irritating toward Golem, who most of the time remains comically serious, providing Shriek with a lot of amusement. He holds some respect for Razor, but will disobey him once in a while out of sheer spite and playful nature. Despite his annoying behaviour, Shriek genuinely likes his allies and is a true team player.
Powers and Abilities
His super speed allows him to literally run circles around most of his enemies and evade all but the fastest attacks.
Shriek's most significant ability, though, is his sonokinesis. He can utilise it to perform powerful soundwaves, shockwave-like thunderclaps and overwhelmingly loud noises. Furthermore, he is capable of more subtle uses, such as perfectly imitating other's voice or being able to hear very distant or quiet sounds.
When the situation is dire, he can enter the Sonic Mode. When in this form, his body becomes immaterial and as such cannot be damaged by physical attacks.
Faults and Weaknesses
- As a Scout, he is quite fragile in comparison with mid- and high-ranking Freaks.
- He is vulnerable to electric- and energy-based attacks, particularly in his Sonic Mode. When struck by such an attack in this form his body may disperse, instantly killing him. As a result, he is rather wary about entering it.
- He is virtually harmless in close-range combat.
