His theme is Silhouette Mirage - Atop Pauro's Castle.
Personality and Behaviour
Edo Soldier's disposition is reasonable and fairly normal in general, not seeking confrontation most of the time unlike many other TF2 Freaks. However, it is also important to note that his behaviour shifts significantly whenever he switches between his modes.
His RED personality is a brave and heroic one, and in that state he cares deeply for the wellbeing of others. In addition, he is characterised by being very rational.
On the other hand, Edo Soldier's BLU character is substantially more self-serving and somewhat impudent. Although, in the long run he still has good intentions.
It appears his BLU persona is the dominant one, as he has been seen in that form more frequently.
Powers and Abilities
Edo Soldier possesses two aspects, RED, which is associated with Mind and psychic power, and BLU, which is related to Soul/Body and non-psychic metaphysical energy. Attacks matching his current attribute will deal next to no damage. The titles themselves, Mind and Body, are more for aesthetic purpose than anything else.
His major means of attack is to fire energy attacks associated with his attribute. They can take shape of projectiles, beams or explosives.
Edo Soldier uses his Reflector to defend from incoming attacks. It is an energy shield that protects him from non-attribute and same-attribute attacks, and is capable of deflecting projectiles.
When in sufficient danger, Edo Soldier can combine his two forms into a single PRL one, exponentially increasing his offensive power but making him multiple times more vulnerable to all forms of damage.
Faults and Weaknesses
- Edo Soldier is vulnerable to neutral/non-attribute attacks, including firearms and purely physical ones, the latter which may actually pass through his shield.
- Continuous attacks of any attribute eventually wear him down and drain his energy.
- When exhausted, Edo Soldier cannot switch between his attributes or activate his super mode.
- Edo Soldier was inspired by PlayStation 1 game Silhouette Mirage.
